Closer and closer/IHSW

I had the most wonderful stitching evening with two dear friends Joy and Kristle and then a wonderful dinner. Our LNS... Stitcher's Paradise is open late on Thursdays so we meet there and it is always a blast!!!! We sit stitch chat and laugh and of course shop!!! I was planning to get a System 4 lap stand but the more I thought about it the more I didn't want to invest just yet so with some of the birthday money from my mother I got more stash. What may you ask.....all the beads for August Peridot Fairy and Dressmaker's Daughter. And oh my she has quite the bling. Also I've been eyeing the newest Lizzie Kate Mystery for quite a while and it just fell in my bag along with the fabric and threads. I love this project!!!!! When to start????

New York was wonderful busy and so wonderful to see family and friends. I visited my former workplace and it was truly bittersweet. But one thing I've learned from that visit is simply that where I am now..... Las Vegas is home....... Quite the realization since I've been here almost 10 years!!! .
Here are two pictures of the progress on Cherry Blossom !! A bit late for IHSW but I am on vacation ......

    I had so much fun too, and then there was Friday! Cherry looks even better in person, I cannot wait for youto join me in beading! I would say hold off on the Lizzie Kate start, too many others are calling!
