Me....a goal

Hi all just a quick post before I go meet my mother and the pecan pie comes out of the oven.....Yes you read right my mother is in town but staying at The Mirage...her choice. The pecan pie is for the annual Christmas Stitchin at one of the SP stitchers house. Basically a potluck and lots of stitching!!!! I bring the pecan pie..here is a picture of my last pecan pie I couldn't not post a picture!!!!

Now you read about a goal in the title....well I was up to 3am stitching from about 8pm and I finished page 5 and started on page 6 of Cirque des Cercles by Ink Circles. Page 5 was stitched in 10 days!!! So I figure since Page 6 is a tad bit smaller CdC may just be my final happy dance for 2008!!!!! That would be so cool!!!! Unfortunately I haven't taken a picture yet but soon my friends!!!

And I am definitely changing my January 1st start......to be revealed next post!!!!!!!

And for all you Mystic Stitchers out there they are having a huge sale until the 22nd.......so happy stashing!!!!!!

I am grateful for my friends and sunny days.....

  4. Now that's what I call STITCHING - from 8 pm till 3 am. If I'm ever out that way again we should have an all nighter Juls.

Your pie looks just as gorgeous as I remember it tasting. Did you make one for your DH too? and how about your mom?

Looking forward to seeing what your stitching planning is for 2009. Lets try and fit the mummy in - let me know when you would like to start that SAL. I'm struggling to get three WIPs finished by the end of the 2008.

DS is arriving Sunday and staying a week. We'll all be celebrating Christmas at DS & her DBFs. We're bringing desert.

I really need to email you but at least this brings you UTD a bit.

Wishing you and DH and all your loved ones including Storm of course a Blessed Christmas and a Healthy and Happy 2009.
